There are eight parts of speech
A noun is the name of a person, place, thing or an animal.
Aslam, cow, book etc.
A pronoun is a word which is used instead of a noun.
I, We, You, She etc.
A word used to describe or modify a noun is called an adjective.
fat, ten, ugly etc.
A verb is a word which tells something about a person or a person and indicates an action, state occurrence.
sing, bark, roar etc.
The word which adds something to the meaning of a verb, adjective or an adverb is called an adveb.
loudly, fast, near etc.
A word governing a noun or pronoun and expressing the relation to another word or element is called a preposition.
at, in, out etc.
Conjunction is a word which connects sentences of words.
and, or, but etc.
An interjection is a word which expresses some sudden feelings of relief, pain, surprise and adviration etc.
Bravo, Hurrah, Ah etc.
